this blog was created to show a different side of images by andre. so you'll see pictures of my family as well as places i have been. you will also see pictures with no comments as sometime i'll just let an image speak for it's self.
there will be times when i come across a commercial image that i have taken and is out of the ordinary for me, i will post and discuss my thought process behing the image
so hopefully, this blog will help you gain a different perspective about images by andre.
I am a just a guy who picked up a camera (around 2005 i think) because I loved to take pictures of buildings as a hobby and as a break from my day job as a software engineer.
Over a period of time, I started taking pictures of high school seniors and weddings and eventually created images by andre.
I still love to create great software but my #1 passion is creating interesting images of people, places and things!

i have been a googler for a while but i am always interested in a better search site. i got notice about this one so check it out

i am soooooo tired! its seem like everyday i am traveling down to the warehouse to either paint, stain/varnish the floor or something but the studio is slowly coming together. i figure by january i should be more content. either way i am still grateful that i have moved out of the basement.
here is the before picture

and after (remember its a work in progress!!!)

there is still a lot of work that needs to be done but give me a couple of months and it will get there.
here are some of the first few pictures taken at the place

just about everyone has an iPod so if you want to break away from the crowd and have an MP3 player that’s not an iPod here is yet another contender.
the screen size is supposed to be bigger, but because this is a prototype its hard to tell what the final product will look like. want to see a wierd viral marketing piece for this unit? go to www.comingzune.com and please tell me what the rabbit means?
i for one will probably get one just because i want to be different than everyone else…plus my old fashion 1st generation DELL DJ is getting long in the tooth.
the thing is just ugly but us software engineers rarely care about design right?
boy has it been a while since the last time i have posted! i have done several weddings AND…and my wife and I our looking for studio space. we are close to signing a lease and then the real work begins!!
i haven’t displayed a lot of my indoor shots so if i get this place, i will be able show you a lot of exciting ideas that i have so stay tuned!!
i was asked to take some images for a gospel singing group to maybe use on their CD cover so…i said yes! this was the first time i had an opportunity to do a project like this so why not
the session was weird in the sense the i am used to posing people and this is not exactly something you would do for a music CD cover!! i mean have you ever purchased a CD that looked like senior portraits?
…my creativity was stretched a lot! (plus i had to work with three people when i am used to working with a single individual, so that was another challenge because in my head i was trying to pose them like a family and that would not have worked at all)
overall it was a good experience for me in that i have a better idea what skills i need to work on if another project came my way
thanks shuana and…hmm….uhh is it paul?, richard? tyrone? leroy? akmahad? bimba? todd? man am i am trouble for forgetting their names!
this is not the CD cover its just something my daughter and I played around with. The group will decide which image to use for their cover…not me!!
