i haven’t photographed a lot of children simply because i am not exactly sure what my style will be for children as i would want to avoid the dreaded sears/wal-mart look. so what do you do…pose children, capture them naturally or a mixture of both?

some photographers are really great with children…i am just now sure if i am one. i guess i could always practice on jordyn some more as i haven’t taken any pictures of her since our wedding!

    Hey Andre,
The barefoot boy pose is wonderful. I love your eye to detail and your appreciation of understated backgrounds (i.e. backgrounds that might not normally capture someone’s attention). There is a simplicity to your work that is sharp, yet understated. I love the way you appear to capture moods in kids’ photography. I think you’re onto something here…what an incredible skill you have.

    Peace,
    Michele
