i think its time for shandrea and i to turn up the excitement meter! poor kid is going to have so many pictures but i won’t start taking them until he/she is 2 months old…i think.

jury selection

i guess homer’s advice didn’t work as i was selected for jury duty and not only that i made the ‘final’ 12
i am excited about the whole process and seeing how it compares to television. the one thing that immediately caught my attention was that the lawyers were not as well polished as their hollywood actors one of them seem to struggle putting sentences together it wasn’t broken english but more like starting a thought…then changing the thought…then coming back to the original thought.
anyway, it seemed like the judge, prosecutor and defense attorney kept coming back to me about some statements i made. i wonder what i said…..;-)
developing my style for kid photography
January 2, 2007i haven’t photographed a lot of children simply because i am not exactly sure what my style will be for children as i would want to avoid the dreaded sears/wal-mart look. so what do you do…pose children, capture them naturally or a mixture of both?
some photographers are really great with children…i am just now sure if i am one. i guess i could always practice on jordyn some more as i haven’t taken any pictures of her since our wedding!
