not yet

well today i finally got the keys to the ‘warehouse area’ in cleveland, but the place wasn’t as complete as i thought it would be :-( so that probably means that some images i was planning on creating this weekend will have to wait.

it was really nice to have shandrea there to remind me that our dream will come true. sometimes i think she is more excited than i am. stay tuned as i will post some images of the place and more importantly some nicely lit indoor images that i haven’t really showcased yet. the warehouse area has large windows so creating images using natural light will be quite easy.

the ‘b’ side

remember 12″ vinyls? (you don’t? wow!!….you must be really young or i must be pretty old? nah…your just too young) anyway, side ‘b’ always contained the remix version of the song on side ‘a’ so for tiffany and brian i figured i would create a side b of two of my favorite images from their eSession.

in the first image the lighting was PATHETIC but the scene was interesting, and in the second the lighting was great but the broken down building was hard on the eyes! i would rather have great lighting but its sort of hard to convince a client to have their wedding shots by a brokend down garbage dump if you know what i mean :-)

kistina.kevin

shandrea took the lead position again as i believe she is getting more comfortable behind the lens and she really captured some nice shots! working with kistina and kevin was nice as they allowed me to do take some more creative shots…some worked and some…didn’t :-(

the world is certainly a small place as i found out later that she works with someone that is very close to me…hmmm i wonder if they were talking about me? sherri

anyway, i just wanted to say congrats kistina & kevin and may your marriage be a model for everyone!

congratulations heather and ray! your wedding turned out great! all the planning and decision making really paid off! having an outdoor wedding has a lot of risks and it was so good to see that the weather came out great!

Zune ~ do you like following the crowd?

just about everyone has an iPod so if you want to break away from the crowd and have an MP3 player that’s not an iPod here is yet another contender.

the screen size is supposed to be bigger, but because this is a prototype its hard to tell what the final product will look like. want to see a wierd viral marketing piece for this unit? go to www.comingzune.com and please tell me what the rabbit means?

i for one will probably get one just because i want to be different than everyone else…plus my old fashion 1st generation DELL DJ is getting long in the tooth.

the thing is just ugly but us software engineers rarely care about design right?

…superman returns

…after much reluctance i decided to go see this movie because i thought superman had been worn out from all of the tv shows like ‘lois & clark’ and smallville, but…i actually like it!

i guess it was the special effects(…or maybe i had watched the trailer to much on my xbox 360) but the story was compelling and believable plus I sort of felt sad for lois’s boyfriend! you can’t string someone along if your heart is with someone else!!!!

anyway, i would actually buy the DVD of this movie and that the true test if i like a movie…would you watch it again and again and again…

someone emailed me this video of groom that just lost himself during the wedding ceremony! for the life of me i can’t figure out why he reacted this way.

was it because he had been praying for her for about 10 years and it finally happened? i don’t know but the wife seem to take it in stride. enjoy
