a future bride joy, gave me a call and told me that people either loved this engagement image or hated it
what about you? do you love it or hate it?

this blog was created to show a different side of images by andre. so you'll see pictures of my family as well as places i have been. you will also see pictures with no comments as sometime i'll just let an image speak for it's self.
there will be times when i come across a commercial image that i have taken and is out of the ordinary for me, i will post and discuss my thought process behing the image
so hopefully, this blog will help you gain a different perspective about images by andre.
I am a just a guy who picked up a camera (around 2005 i think) because I loved to take pictures of buildings as a hobby and as a break from my day job as a software engineer.
Over a period of time, I started taking pictures of high school seniors and weddings and eventually created images by andre.
I still love to create great software but my #1 passion is creating interesting images of people, places and things!

LOVE IT!!
Don’t want to use the word hate but I don’t like it
why do you think some people would not like it…thoughts?
I THINK IT IS THE LIGHTING. IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED ,MAYBE SOFTEN IT UP A BIT.
IT IS OKAY , I WOULDN’T SAY I LIKE OR DISLIKE IT.
I like the concept of looking up to the Lord! But because they both have big beautiful eyes the lower portion of the whites of their eyes are emphasized to much. If you could shade that a bit, That would take away the love/hate factor of this pix. It would be an instant hit!
I like it. I think that people may not like it because of the lighting or the color. It does not look black and white & maybe if the light was a little softer. But great look!
